 Hansman\, the author of the books Downriver and Powder Days\, for a writing 
 workshop where we'll work on the skills necessary to turn a river\, 
 skiing\, hiking\, or any trip\, into a story. Bring a piece you've already 
 written to work on if you'd like or start your exciting new piece with a 
 generative writing exercise at the beginning of the workshop . We'll talk 
 about structure\, flow\, and scenes\, and look at how to use recreation as 
 a storytelling tool to talk about conservation\, personal growth\, 
 environmental ethics and more.
