Laura Ianacone has been a Social Studies teacher for both high school and middle school for 26 years. She holds a BA in Political Science, a Master's in Education, and National Board Teaching Certification. Currently, she teaches 7th and 8th grade and has taken students on five trips to Washington, D.C. to learn about history and government. Her interests include beekeeping, hiking, walking her dog, traveling, and reading historical fiction.
Melanie Morgan is a seasoned federal criminal defense lawyer who represents individuals from all walks of life charged with violations of federal law or under investigation by various law enforcement agencies, like the FBI, ICE, DEA, IRS, to name a few. Her role as a defense lawyer is constitutionally mandated under the Sixth Amendment and that’s a role and responsibility she takes to heart! Last year on behalf of various clients, she raised constitutional challenges under the First, Second, Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Amendments. Melanie makes her home in Placerville with her husband Greg, and their dog Kairi and maintains an office in Mountain Village and Kansas City. Among her favorite activities are hiking, skiing, baking and reading.
