The Real Book Club: Jazz Standards In-Person
Join us for The Real Book Club, a monthly jazz jam session for musicians of all levels who want to dive into classic jazz standards together! Whether you're a seasoned improviser or just starting out, this is a welcoming space to play, practice, and connect with fellow jazz enthusiasts.
Each month, we’ll focus on three jazz standards selected from The Real Book. You’ll receive PDFs of the tunes in advance so you can shed at home and come ready to jam. Lead sheets will also be available on the day of the event.
Sunday, Nov 23rd: Wave, So What, Freddie Freeloader
Bring your instrument and amplification (if necessary), and your love for jazz. Let’s swing, comp, and solo our way through the standards.
